What is Equine Massage Therapy?

Equine Sports Massage Therapy is the therapeutic application of hands-on massage techniques for the purpose of increasing circulation, relaxing muscle spasms, relieving tension, enhancing muscle tone, and increasing range of motion in high performance horses.

 

Will I see a difference in one treatment?

Yes, you should notice a change with the first treatment. However, massage can't guarantee total relief if the factors that start the issues manifest again. It may take several massages to get your horse where it needs to be.

 

I am at a show or out of town, can I still receive treatments?

Yes! call me with any questions or issues. I do travel. Please note additional charges may occur if travel is necessary.

 

How do I know if my horse needs a massage?

Will I need to stay on a schedule to make massage work?

This question is based on a case-by-case basis. We will meet after your first session and we'll discuss the best treatment plan for you horse.
